Amazon Prime Video is set to launch a gripping new six-episode thriller series titled Steal, led by Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner. The high-stakes drama combines a tense heist scenario with surprising social implications and character conflict, promising a standout addition to the 2026 streaming lineup.
Synopsis
Steal follows Zara (Sophie Turner), an ordinary office worker at a pension fund investment firm called Lochmill Capital, whose routine workday takes a terrifying turn when a gang of violent thieves storms the building. The intruders force Zara and her colleague Luke (Archie Madekwe) to carry out their orders — unlocking access to billions of pounds in pension funds belonging to everyday people. As the shocking heist unfolds, Detective Chief Inspector Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) leads the investigation from the outside while wrestling with his own personal challenges, including a recent gambling relapse.
The series delves into questions about financial vulnerability, moral choices under duress, and the ripple effects of large-scale crime on ordinary lives.
