Here is a brand-new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder. Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman reunite for the fourth installment of the Thor film series. The film will be in cinemas on July 8, 2022.
A sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017), the film is written and directed by Taika Waititi. The film follows Thor who after the fall of Asgard and the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019) attempts to find inner peace but must return to action and recruit Valkyrie, Korg, and Jane Foster—who has become the Mighty Thor—to stop Gorr the God Butcher from eliminating all gods.
The trailer reveals the first look of Christian Bale as the villainous Gorr the God Butcher. While the Gorr character in comics is multilayered spanning ages, it will be interesting to watch how the character has been designed with respect to his interaction with Thor.
‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ has an ensemble cast including Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman.
