More to the story of John Wick, next planned for 2021

Keanu Reeves in John Wick 3

Keanu Reeves’ “John Wick 3” (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum) is doing great at the box office and the online media is abuzz with the possibility of a fourth installment in the franchise.

Started back in 2014, the film franchise has a dedicated fan following with amazing action and interesting plot i.e. driven by action. As per the latest report, the revenge saga will continue with John Wick: Chapter 4 — set for May 21, 2021 release.

After “The Matrix” franchise, John Wick is the finest film series Keanu Reeves is a part of. Other than acting, his masterclass action sequences (where he himself does most of the action), combined with that many visceral violence, have indeed made these three films successful.

Considering the fact that people are looking forward to seeing more of Wick and Reeves’ magic on the big screen, it is expected that the makers including series creator Derek Kolstad and director Chad Stahelski over the years have tried a lot in making the films compelling.

Moreover, Chapter 3 – Parabellum continues the storyline from where Chapter 2 ends. Since the new movie gives more information on the origin of the protagonist, the planned production would have the further narrative and probably bring more characters or explore new prospects in the story.

“John Wick 4” is not the only movie that has a release date of May 21, 2021; the live-action ‘Akira’ movie as well as Warner Bros.’ “DC Super Pets” also have the same date of release.
