Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone Set for Epic On-Screen Reunion

Bollywood enthusiasts are buzzing with excitement over reports that Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will reunite after a decade for Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming film, loosely inspired by the 1956 classic Chori Chori starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis.

This project marks a modern reinterpretation of the original’s core premise—a runaway heiress and a witty reporter’s unlikely romance infused with humor and social insights—updated with contemporary twists and character developments.

Directed by the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani helmer, whose prior chemistry between the duo remains iconic, the film promises to captivate fans once again.

Ranbir is spearheading the revival of the legendary RK Films banner under his production, making this the inaugural title and a heartfelt nod to his family’s cinematic heritage. The duo’s last collaboration was Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha in 2015, following their beloved pairing in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Currently, Ranbir is immersed in Love & War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, alongside Ramayana, while Deepika gears up for King and a yet-untitled project with Allu Arjun. This reunion could redefine Bollywood pairings—stay tuned for official announcements!
