SS Rajamouli has officially titled his much-anticipated next film “Varanasi,” featuring Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.
The announcement was made at a grand event, the GlobeTrotter launch, held at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City, where the first-look teaser and a motion poster were revealed.

The GlobeTrotter launch event was a cinematic spectacle with over 50,000 attendees, featuring a historic digital-first premiere of the film’s teaser and first look streamed on JioHotstar. The teaser was displayed on a massive 130 ft by 100 ft screen, setting a new visual record in India. The event also featured a live musical performance of the title track by Shruti Haasan and Divine.
