“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” Trilogy Updates
Following the Japanese release on July 18, 2025, of Part 1 (“Akaza Returns”)—and with the worldwide theatrical run (including India and North America) taking place during August and September—the plans for Parts 2 and 3 have been reported by several industry sources.
Part 2 of the Infinity Castle trilogy has been scheduled for release in 2027. Although the release date hasn’t been officially set, production has already commenced, and confirmation from credible sources and anime insiders indicates fans can anticipate a gap of about two years between every movie in the trilogy.
Part 3, the grand finale, is coming our way in 2029. This will be the end not only of the trilogy, but of the whole “Demon Slayer” anime adaptation, culminating the manga’s climax arcs in full cinematic style on the big screen.
Both sequels will remain produced by Ufotable and exhibited in theaters around the globe, utilizing the same distributed model as Part 1. The Infinity Castle trilogy adapts the final “Infinity Castle” arc of the manga, guaranteeing all remaining storylines and major battles—including the highly anticipated clash with Muzan—receive the scope and treatment fans have been requesting ever since the TV series ended.
Until they come out, those interested in knowing the remaining story can watch the last chapters of the original manga (completed in 2020). Trailers, voice casts, and theme songs for the sequels will probably be released nearer to each movie’s release window.
In summary:
Part 2: coming in 2027
Part 3: coming in 2029
The trilogy will provide a complete adaptation of the manga’s dramatic final arc, with a theatrical global release pattern similar to the first film.
