Guns and Gulaabs: Netflix's Exciting New Indian Series

On August 18, 2023, Netflix will debut the eagerly anticipated “Guns & Gulaabs,” an Indian Hindi comic crime thriller series. Raj & DK are the creators and directors of the drama, which transports audiences to the 1990s while fusing gripping crime elements with the romance of bygone Bollywood.

Starring talented actors Rajkummar Rao, Dulquer Salmaan, Adarsh Gourav, Goutam Sharma, Gourav Sharma, and Gulshan Devaiah, the series promises a captivating and entertaining experience.

The story is set in the fictional town of Gulaabgunj, where power struggles, vengeance schemes, and classic romance all intertwine to create a compelling narrative.

Dulquer Salmaan plays Arjun, an honest police officer who becomes caught in mayhem as he struggles with wannabe gangsters. Satish Kaushik, the late actor, also makes an appearance, bringing emotional depth to the show.

“Guns & Gulaabs” features a delightful blend of disco-inspired Bollywood songs, accompanied by Raj & DK’s trademark black comedy elements. For the creators, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., the series is a return to their roots, evoking memories of their earlier films like “99” and “Shor in the City.” Inspired by the “Misfits of the World,” this show promises a unique and refreshing take on crime, romance, and comedy.

With a star-studded cast and a fascinating premise, “Guns & Gulaabs” is poised to become a must-watch series on Netflix.
