Fantastic Beasts 3 (Teaser): Celebrates the Enchanting Wizarding World

Slated to be released later in April 2022, Warner Bros. Pictures has finally released the first look teaser for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Just when we think we’re missing the experience of the enchanting Wizarding World for a long time, the teaser reveals Mads Mikkelsen’s Grindelwald.

“Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore” – Official Trailer

Release Date: 8 April 2022 (United Kingdom), 15 April 2022 (United States)

A sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), the new film is the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts film series. A full trailer of the film is arriving on Monday, but with this teaser, we can see some footage from the movie already. The teaser looks back at 20 years since the first Harry Potter was released and then shows some glimpses of the Wizarding World’s future.

It would be interesting to watch Mikkelsen as the new Grindelwald, the villainous character earlier played by Johnny Depp. Here is the first teaser that was released ahead of the above extensive trailer for the new film.

In the video’s crescendo, we are greeted with an arresting shot of the esteemed Hogwarts castle before being swiftly taken down one of its corridors to meet Newt Scamander, Jacob Kowalski, Theseus Scamander, and Professor Lally Hicks (whom you saw briefly in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald!) meeting with Albus Dumbledore.

You’ll also get your first look at Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert Grindelwald, glimmers of exciting and exotic new magical creatures, and an earth-shattering confrontation between Credence and Dumbledore. ‘The world as we know it is coming undone,’ Dumbledore says mournfully as the action unfolds. Have you formed any theories yet? Why does Dumbledore have a Golden Snitch? Could that mysterious cylindrical magical object be some sort of Portkey? And what is Dumbledore asking them to do, ‘even when every instinct tells you not to’?
