Kimberly Huggins, the founder of Film Festival O, says “A great opportunity for filmmakers to make money is by entering international film festivals. We are one of the first to bring our efforts online, breaking down the barrier between filmmakers and film lovers.”
Film Festival O provides filmmakers and viewers access to industry insider information, spectacular films, and talented filmmakers from around the world. Viewers have the added benefit of attending the events without being physically present and contributing to their favorite filmmaker through the new Tip Jar feature.
From cash prizes to featuring industry-leading experts and our audience-supported Tip Jar feature, Film Festival O is about giving great indie filmmakers the tools to succeed.
“We live and breathe independent films,” says Huggins, “Our goal is to support the geniuses behind some of the most inspirational and thought-provoking films by offering cash prizes in recognition of outstanding films produced within their specific genre.”
Film Festival O will take place this year on November 28th to December 4th. In the lead-up to the Festival, more information will be available as the Festival approaches. The late submission deadline is August 10th.
