Jonah Hill, James Franco’s “True Story” – Movie Trailer

TRUE STORY FILM POSTER

We have watched both Jonah Hill and James Franco in some of the finest comedy flicks, but how about these two teaming up for a dark and serious drama… I guess the upcoming legal thriller True Story seems really cool. The film is based on the memoir of former New York Times journalist Michael Finkel who comes close to an accused murderer Christian Longo.

To reveal a little more about True Story: James Franco plays Longo – a man wanted for murdering his wife and children. He was on the FBI’s most wanted fugitive list and was hiding under the identity of Michael Finkel (Jonah Hill), the journalist who was fired from his job for making up characters for a story he had written on the African slave trade.

Under such circumstances, the real drama begins when the fake Finkel reaches out to the real Finkel to tell him his story. But as Longo is a convicted murderer, you never know what will happen next. Suspense!

Directed by Rupert Goold, True Story also stars Felicity Jones, Gretchen Mol, Betty Gilpin, and John Sharian and is slated for a release on April 10, 2015. Please hit the trailer below to have a glimpse of the film.
