Red Sparrow – Jennifer Lawrence starrer thriller [TRAILER]

Set for a 2018 release, Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming thriller Red Sparrow is an adaptation of the novel of the same name. The trailer was out recently that introduces the Russian prima ballerina Dominika (Lawrence) who finds herself in a training academy for Russian spies, after she hurts her ankle that ended her career.

What we have read so far and watched in the trailer, the movie Red Sparrow is a slick and stylish thriller with sex, nudity, blood and more. Director Francis Lawrence has already made it clear that this is going to be an R-rated film.

Jennifer Lawrence as a secret service agent, rather a deadly spy, with a mission in hand looks promising. If everything goes with the story and the treatment by the director, this film is probably going to be one of her finest performances till date.

The film certainly has its moments coupled with a very tense sounding music to the graphical depiction of violence, and clever cinematography, Red Sparrow has great potential to thrill you to the end.

In addition to Lawrence, Red Sparrow also stars Joel Edgerton (who plays a CIA agent), Matthias Schoenaerts, Charlotte Rampling, Mary-Louise Parker and Jeremy Irons.

The film is set to be released on March 2, 2018.
