The first official trailer for Roofman has arrived, and it’s just as stunning as the true story behind it. Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst star in the movie that brings to life one of the most offbeat and intriguing criminal stories in recent American history.
Roofman Movie Synopsis
Inspired by the incredible real-life story of Jeffrey Manchester, Roofman is about a former Army Ranger and overwhelmed father who resorts to a weird type of robbery—drilling holes in the roofs of McDonald’s restaurants. Having earned the moniker “Roofman,” Jeffrey’s life gets even more bizarre when he breaks out of prison and quietly resides within a Toys “R” Us for six months, planning his next step.
But when he encounters Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a smart and empathetic divorced mother, his masterfully concealed double life is about to start to fall apart. Then comes a spine-tingling and poignant game of cat-and-mouse as love, deception, and law enforcement intersect.
