“The Unholy Trinity,” a new Western film written by Lee Zachariah and directed by Richard Gray, will hit theaters on June 13, 2025.
The movie takes place in 1870s Montana. Brandon Lessard portrays Henry Broadway, the protagonist of the tale. Henry’s father, Isaac (Tim Daly), who is set to be put to death, orders him to exact revenge on the person who set him up. Henry visits the town of Trinity as part of his quest. There, he finds himself entangled in a battle between a shadowy outlaw named St. Christopher (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sheriff Gabriel Dove (Pierce Brosnan).
The cast of “The Unholy Trinity” is impressive and includes Katrina Bowden, David Arquette, Q’orianka Kilcher, and Ethan Peck. Paris and Dylan, Pierce Brosnan’s sons, also appear in the film. They portray a pastor and a character named Thomas. Brosnan has stated that he has always enjoyed Western movies and that he felt proud to work with his sons.
The Paradise Valley in Montana served as the filming location. First screened at the Zurich Film Festival in October 2024, it was produced under an agreement with the actors’ union during the 2023 strike. The film’s convincing setting and strong acting have been praised in early reviews, with Samuel L. Jackson’s portrayal of St. Christopher drawing particular praise.
