Baby John Teaser: Jackie Shroff as the Fierce Babbar Sher

There is a lot of buzz around the highly anticipated Hindi-language action movie Baby John, which is scheduled to open in theaters on December 25, 2024. The makers have recently dropped a teaser featuring Jackie Shroff’s portrayal of the villain Babbar Sher. The actor’s rugged and dangerous look, reminiscent of one of those old kung fu warriors with a weapon, is loved by netizens and adds to the excitement.

Baby John, which is a remake of Atlee’s Tamil film Theri (2016), is directed by Kalees. Atlee co-produced the film with Jyoti Deshpande and Murad Khetani. While Varun Dhawan plays the title role, National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh makes her Hindi film debut. Watch the teaser below.

The story of Baby John revolves around Satya Verma, popularly known as Baby John, an ex-police officer who pretends to be dead in order to shield his daughter and provide her with a safer existence. But in order to protect his daughter and provide her with a good future, Baby John must face his dark past when old foes reappear. The film promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats with its thrilling action sequences and deep emotional drama.

Who’s in the cast of Baby John?

The star-studded cast includes Varun Dhawan as Baby John and Keerthy Suresh, who makes her Bollywood debut. Jackie Shroff plays the primary adversary, Babbar Sher, whose rough and threatening appearance has already grabbed audiences. Wamiqa Gabbi also plays an important role in the film.
