Based on the novel The Dinner by Herman Koch, A Normal Family is a South Korean drama film directed by Jin-ho Heo. The movie premiered worldwide at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival and is scheduled for release on October 16, 2024.

The film centers on two wealthy families who gather for dinner to discuss a serious crime committed by their children and how to handle the situation.

Movie Synopsis: A Tale of Moral Dilemmas and Family Secrets

In A Normal Family, two brothers—Jae-Wan, a lawyer, and Jae-Kyu, a pediatrician—and their wives dine at a fine restaurant. During lunch, Jae-Wan shows video recordings of a crime committed by their children. Parents from various walks of life must come together to figure out how to deal with the issue and protect their children.
