Scatena & Rosner Films announces the release of VOICE OF SHADOWS, a new gothic horror thriller directed by Nicholas Bain. The film will be available on September 17 through various digital and streaming platforms, including iTunes/Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, Fandango at Home, Vimeo, and local cable & satellite providers. The film features Guillermo Blanco (The Queen of Flow) and Corrinne Mica (Always, Lola) in leading roles.
Movie Synopsis
VOICE OF SHADOWS follows Gabriel and Emma, a couple who encounter disturbing events when Emma inherits an estate under strange conditions. As Emma gets involved with a cult tied to the estate, Gabriel must confront his past and fight to save both himself and Emma. Bee Vang (Gran Torino) plays a young priest involved in their struggle.
According to Zach Stampone, VP of Distribution at Scatena & Rosner Films, “VOICE OF SHADOWS is a significant contribution to the genre, combining suspense and storytelling effectively.” Nicholas Bain, the film’s writer and director, notes that the film addresses themes of discrimination, class, and sacred power through its horror-noir narrative.
The film has received recognition at several film festivals, including Best Feature Film awards at Romford Horror Festival and Latitude Film Awards, and Best Visual Effects at Los Angeles Crime and Horror Festival.
