Director Park Beom-su brings you “Victory,” a nostalgic coming-of-age cheerleading drama set in 1999 Geoje, South Korea. The film is set to release on August 14, 2024.

Synopsis:

In 1999, in Geoje, South Korea, high school students Pil-Sun (Hyeri) and Mi-Na (Park Se-Wan) are passionate about dancing but are frustrated by the lack of a proper dance room at their school. Their world changes when they spot Se-Hyun (Jo A-Ram), a transfer student from Seoul, performing cheerleading in the classroom. Inspired, Pil-Sun and Mi-Na team up with Se-Hyun to form a cheerleading club, hoping to secure their own dance space. Thus, the “Millennium Girls” cheerleading squad is born.

With nine enthusiastic members, the Millennium Girls rally behind the Geoje Commercial High School’s soccer team, which is struggling at the bottom of their league. Despite the soccer team’s poor performance, the cheerleaders’ support brings a new spirit to the field, and their journey is just beginning.
