“Warriors of Future” | A Hong Kong sci-fi action film

A major sci-fi blockbuster “Warriors of Future,” will start streaming worldwide exclusively on Netflix on December 2. After its record-breaking theatrical release, the apocalyptic film, directed by Yuen Fai Ng, is currently the highest-grossing Chinese-language film of all time in Hong Kong that stars A-listers such as Louis Koo, as well as Lau Ching Wan, Carina Lau, and Philip Keung.

Movie Synopsis

With the invention and widespread usage of military robots by 2055, wars have ravaged the Earth, while global warming and disasters have completely wrecked and poisoned the atmosphere. Many individuals are born with birth defects and die, with sky nets constructed to protect the Earth’s survivors.

Meanwhile, a meteor carrying a lethal plant known as “Pandora” strikes the futuristic Hong Kong city. “Pandora” cleanses the planet by annihilating everything in its path. To protect the people, a suicide squad led by a local military unit is given only hours to save the city from catastrophic destruction.
