Extraction 2 | Promises An Even More Intense Action-packed Experience

Chris Hemsworth reprises his character as Tyler Rake in the sequel to Netflix’s blockbuster action film EXTRACTION. This is a sequel to the first film, which was based on Ande Parks’ graphic novel ‘Ciudad,’ with a story by Ande Parks, Joe Russo, and Anthony Russo, and illustrations by Fernando León González.

Rake returns as the Australian black ops mercenary tasked with another lethal mission: rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held after barely surviving the events of the first film. With twice the action, Extraction 2 promises an even more intense action-packed experience.

Hemsworth collaborates once again with director Sam Hargrave, with Joe and Anthony Russo’s AGBO producing and Joe Russo writing. Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first film, alongside Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili.

Extraction 2 is produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Chris Hemsworth, Patrick Newall, and Sam Hargrave, with Angela Russo-Otstot, Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus, and Stephen McFeely as executive producers.
