‘TAKEN’ TV Series – Preview

Taken-TV-series-poster

It seems screenwriter and producer Luc Besson has not gotten over the Taken film series which is considered to be one of his finest creations. Yet again, as the iconic blockbuster Taken movie trilogy ended in 2014, Besson is going back to the story of CIA operative Bryan Mills but this time as executive produce for a TV series.

The Taken television series is expected to be another thrilling addition to the Taken saga in which Liam Nesson very rightly established himself as a bankable action hero. Well, the TV series is going to be a bit different as this is NOT going to be any sequel, rather a prequel to Taken 1 (2008). So, there will be no Nesson in this, and the younger Bryan will be played by Clive Standen of Vikings (plays Rollo) fame.

Taken – Every Hero Has a Beginning (Watch Preview)

Set to be premiered on February 27, 2017, on NBC, the television series “Taken” is produced by EuropaCorp TV and Universal Television. The story follows a younger Bryan as he deals with a personal tragedy that pushes him to an unusual career as a deadly CIA operative.

Taken follows young Bryan Mills as he fights to overcome a personal tragedy. As we can see in the preview, Bryan Mill’s sister (or someone very close to Bryan) dies in the mid of a train hijacking incident where he bravely saves the lives of many others. Soon after, the CIA recruits Bryan and uses his anger and sense of vengeance to serve American people.
