For all the fans of Rocky which has been one of the most talked-about movies in the last three decades, here is good news that Sylvester Stallone is returning as Rocky for a film named Creed to be directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station) with Michael B. Jordan in the lead.
The new film Creed, which is a spin-off to the popular franchise, is believed to be based on a plot in which Rocky’s rival-turned-friend Apollo Creed allows his grandson to be trained by Rocky Balboa. However, there are no further details or speculation on the storyline and by what time the movie is going on the floor.

It’s also in news that British professional boxer Tony Bellew is going to play a major role in Creed. Nevertheless, the film will revolve around the character Creed junior and his mentor, now-retired Rocky Balboa.
While it’s very appealing to hear about the return of Rocky as a successful franchise, but there is also concern about the success of the film. Nevertheless, I don’t think Stallone would even allow anyone to use his creation unless the project is really promising. On the other hand, Jordan has proved himself as an exceptional actor in the critically acclaimed film Fruitvale Station.
