Based on Joakim Zander’s novel of the same name, An Honest Life is a thriller about betrayal, class, and the allure of living above the law. In this Swedish thriller, a cynical law student in search of inspiration joins a band of anarchists, but soon becomes entangled in a web of crime where he is more pawn than player.

An Honest Life premieres globally on Thursday, July 31, exclusively on Netflix.

Synopsis:

Simon arrives in Lund full of anticipation and ready for his life to begin, but is quickly disappointed by law school. During a violent protest march, he meets the anarchistic young woman Max and falls in love. She dazzles him with a world of excess, lies and huge risks – and when he realises the damage that’s done, it’s already too late to escape.
