Synopsis
In a gripping tale of justice and morality, “Land of Happiness” takes us back to 1979, when a single event shook South Korea to its core. The film centers on Lawyer Jung In-Hoo (played by Cho Jung-Seok), who finds himself at the heart of one of the country’s most explosive political trials. His client, Park Tae-Joo (Lee Sun-Kyun), is accused of involvement in the assassination of the president—a crime that has already cast a long shadow over the nation.
