‘1917’ – Sam Mendes’ World War I Epic

This upcoming World War I epic 1917 is coming from the Academy Award-winning director Sam Mendes and has an incredible cast, including Colin Firth and Benedict Cumberbatch.

‘The Irishman’ – Directed by Martin Scorsese

For all those fans of Goodfellas, the showman Martin Scorsese is back to the crime drama genre with his latest creation The Irishman. While we will be seeing Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci together once again in key roles, Al Pacino is working for the first time with Scorsese.

The film is based on “I Heard You Paint Houses: Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran & Closing the Case on Jimmy Hoffa” by author Charles Brandt. So, this might throw some light on the rise of Frank Sheeran from a war veteran to a hitman and might also include the circumstances leading to the Jimmy Hoffa disappearance.
