British spy action-comedy film ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’ which had a decent box office run in 2015 has now a sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle and the trailer is out. Directed by Matthew Vaughn, the film stars some of its old cast, including Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Edward Holcroft, Taron Egerton and Michael Caine, and also new additions like Halle Berry, Julianne Moore, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges, among others.
The trailer looks slick and stylish just as any Bond movie with some great special effects. Hopefully, The Golden Circle will garner more following than the earlier one. The film as the trailer suggests will have some gadget-packed action sequences. Also it seems Colin Firth’s character Harry Hart, who was supposedly killed in the first film, will return.
“Kingsman: The Secret Service” introduced the world to Kingsman – an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy…
Originally scheduled for a summer release, Kingsman: The Golden Circle hits theatres on Sept 22nd.
